Samenvatting

Dairy ingredients contribute to gut health by stimulating gut development and maturation, of relevance for the developing infant. FC is interested to study gut health effects of dairy components because of innovations in this area. Particularly with respect to infant and clinical nutrition, gut development and maturation is an understudied area. The current collaboration will establish benefits in the area of gut health by developing organoid systems to study gut development and maturation events which can be used to assess the effects of dairy derived ingredients.
