Integral sustainability improvement of the frozen vegetables and potato processing chain
The frozen fresh-food sector produces more than 300 Mt fresh frozen product per year. The sustainability of the fresh-frozen food chain can be significantly improved. The objective of the project is to apply innovations that reduce the planetary impact of the frozen chain, while maintaining the quality of the food produced such that the sustainability of the process is increased by at least 20%. By reaching this goal, this project contributes to priorities 36 and 37 and to UN SDG 12 and 13.
